DANIEL KUNTZ

We’re excited to announce that the Kings have added Daniel Kuntz as our Director of Goalie Development across all Kings programs.

Danny is one of the most respected goalie coaches in New York State. He has worked with goalies at every level, and many of the top goaltenders in Central New York have trained with him. His reputation is built on results, consistency, and a clear, proven development process that goalies trust.

A former standout goaltender, Danny was named Monroe County Player of the Year and earned multiple honors including First Team All-State and Section V Goaltender of the Year during his high school career at Churchville-Chili. At the collegiate level, he continued to excel, earning First Team All-Region and First Team All-American honors in the NJCAA.

Drawing from his high-level playing career, Danny delivers a coaching approach rooted in elite technical detail, mental toughness, and game-real awareness. He helps goalies understand the game at a deeper level turning technique into results. His USA Hockey Level 4 Certification and Silver Level Goalie Coach credentials reflect a strong commitment to structured and advanced goalie development.

As part of our program, Kings goalies receive one-on-one training with our goalie development staff, focused on-ice instruction, video breakdown, and team-based goalie development. Danny’s approach is built around confidence, consistency, and performing under pressure developing smart, resilient, technically sound goaltenders.
